Robert Blaha, PresidentRobert Blaha, President of Human Capital Associates, has more than twenty-five years of experience dealing with leadership, high-performance work, and major Six Sigma and Lean implementations. He has held senior management positions with four major corporations—Ford, Monsanto, Engelhard and Asea Brown Boveri (ABB). During Mr. Blaha’s tenure in industry, he held line and staff positions in organizations ranging from construction to mining to service.

In 1993, Robert founded Human Capital Associates. HCA was created after thoroughly analyzing major initiative "disconnects" within organizations. HCA's processes in business transformation, program and leadership development, and lean6sigma process improvement have resulted in improved organizational capability, billions of dollars in documented savings, and increased revenues for his clients.

Blaha is an internationally sought speaker and has authored numerous articles and three books, Beyond Survival, The Archer Chronicles and The Lean6sigma Accelerator, on high performance work systems, leadership, and achieving organizational wide commitment to change. He has also been cited and featured in Quality Digest, Human Resource Management, Chief Learning Officer, and Harvard Management Update as an expert on Business Transformation.

Since November 2001, he has served as a board member of Tournament Gold/Attendeez, based in Omaha, NE. Since February 2003, Robert has served as the Vice Chairman and member of the board of directors of Integrity Bank & Trust, a commercial bank based in Colorado Springs, CO.

Robert holds a BBA from the University of Iowa where he was the Forrest Eveshevski Scholar Athlete. He also is a graduate of the University of Michigan’s Human Resource Executive Program.
